Located on Rte 360 East - 21 miles east of Mechanicsville and 27 miles from Richmond - King William County. This small community of 7,700 knows the secret to peaceful living with the city and amenities galore within a close drive!
- Adding a Family Medicine MD/DO to the team - can start late 2024 through 2025.
- 2 MD and 1 NP in practice now
- M-F 8-5 preferred work schedule
- 36 clinical hours / 4 hours admin per week
- 100% outpatient primary care - no hospital responsibility
- Estimated 20 patients per day after ramp up period
- EPIC EMR - MyChart telemedicine
- After-hours call is 1 day per week, every 4th or 5th weekend - shared with another FM practice
- We see the full range of patient ages from peds to geriatric
- Basic primary care skills and geriatric medicine - some in-office procedures including joint injections, minor derm, skin biopsy and lesion removal, women's health
- Dedicated 1:1 MD:LPN/CMA Support
- Phlebotomist on site, Pharm-D, Social Worker and Diabetes Educator available via phone
- This is a very warm, family-oriented practice, with a multi-generational patient base. The staff are primarily local and know their patient population well. The other providers in the practice are well aware of local resources available, and the Regional Medical Director is practicing here, so there is the opportunity to keep current on Medical Group initiatives.

- Eligible Candidates will have completed a U.S.-based Family Residency Program and BE/BC

Aylett Medical Center - King William VA
Aylett Medical Center is a dedicated and warm team of 2 Family Medicine Physicians and 1 Family Nurse Practitioner. We provide full spectrum family practice care to patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult care, in a rural community. We're open for appointments from 8:00 am to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Our providers are credentialed through Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville.
Aylett Medical Center is 35 minutes from downtown Richmond, and 20 minutes from Mechanicsville at the intersection of Rte. 360 and Rte. 30 We're just a few miles from the Mattaponi and Pamunkey Rivers and 20 minutes from the Rappahannock River.
